Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants and associates, registered nurses, and nurse practitioners who care for patients from ethnic and racial minorities groups that experience differences in MS-related morbidity and mortality.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe variations in MS disease course based on race/ethnicity.
- Discuss interventions that may alleviate disparities and inequities in access to care for people with MS from ethnic/racial groups.
- Explain the modifiable patient-related factors that contribute to diverse health outcomes in patients with MS.
