Target Audience

The intended audience for this Clinician Webcast will be Physicians, Nurses and Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.  

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: 

  • Discuss variation in depression diagnosis and treatment among individuals from racial and ethnic minority groups.  
  • Develop strategies that ensure treatment uptake and support treatment adherence in Black patients with MDD.  
  • Apply approved and emerging investigational therapeutic agents for MDD, once available, to treatment plans of Black patients with MDD.

This activity is designated for 1.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Approval is valid until June 30, 2026. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
