Course Overview

Ending the HIV epidemic requires more attentive care for formerly incarcerated individuals. Consider that:

  • Formerly incarcerated individuals have up to 5X higher risk of HIV than the general population
  • Women with a history of incarceration have HIV rates up to 15X higher than the general female population.
  • Florida has one of the highest rates of HIV diagnosis in the nation and HIV is 7X more likely among Florida's incarcerated population.

Addressing these disparities is crucial for reducing the overall burden of HIV. Watch the webinar to learn how you can join us in addressing these disparities.
