Target Audience

This initiative is designed to reach clinicians currently identifying and managing patients with monkeypox, including but not limited to providers working in primary care, emergency departments, urgent care, and other settings.

Learner Outcomes

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  • Describe the clinical presentation and disease course of monkeypox (MPX)
  • Assess the safety and efficacy of vaccinations and treatments for MPX
  • Discuss strategies to improve quality of testing for Monkeypox virus
