Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners who care for patients with HIV or may benefit from PrEP. 

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:  

  • Describe disparities in use of HIV prevention. 
  • Describe benefits and tenets of practicing with cultural humility. 
  • Describe eligibility and contraindications for PrEP. 
  • Identify regimens that are suitable for rapid initiation of ART.
