Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, particularly those in convenient and urgent care settings, who care for patients who could benefit from PrEP.  

Educational Objectives

  • Describe risk of HIV in adolescents and young adults. 
  • Evaluate benefits and tenets of practicing with cultural humility.   
  • Define eligibility and contraindications for PrEP.
